We are delighted to hear that one of our pioneering partners, Stephenson’s Food & Dairy are finalists in this year’s Red Rose Awards. The Red Rose Awards is the event where Lancashire business, commerce and industry are celebrated. It provides the best possible platforms to promote success, and to encourage inter-trading in the county.
Chris & Steph Stephenson have been nominated for the ‘Innovation Award’ and they thoroughly deserve some recognition for the commitment they have made to trying to deliver some badly need value for the British dairy industry.
Stephenson’s were the first dairy in the UK to launch Free Range Milk to market and now supply customers across Lancashire and Cumbria with milk bearing the Pasture Promise label. The milk comes from selected farms where cows are given the freedom to graze in fields for at least six months of the year and Chris & Steph return a premium to the farmers for producing milk from a sustainable farming system.
We wish them the very best of luck for the awards ceremony which takes place in the Empress Ballroom at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday March 10th.
