Not to be outdone by the Danes (Arla), Dutch dairy company Friesland Campina have released a video about milk. It has a very modern feel and shows cows quietly grazing under the stars as urban society rushes to and fro.
The film again demonstrates the power of images of cows grazing grass. I know Friesland Campina have been offering their milk suppliers a premium if their herds go out to graze for 120 days a year, for a minimum of six hours a day.
Any would-be Steven Speilbergs out there, who want to make a thoroughly British movie showing their herds at grass, please send us a copy or a You Tube link and we will post it on the Free Range Dairy website.
You can find the Friesland Campina video on YouTube here.
